The spot for getting to Ft. Knox was spot on, and the rooms were clean and roomy. Even though the motel is older, it’s kept up well, and the café next door with a bar was pretty good. Parking was easy and the front desk staff were very helpful. The only downside was the indoor pool wasn’t heated – a bit too cold for me, but fine for the kids. That doesn’t really hurt the location, and there were no other problems.

The location was the only thing worth mentioning. My daughter, who’s 29, saw a roach for the first time in her life.

I stayed here for a friend’s wedding last weekend, and it was close and convenient to the venue. What bothered me was that there was only one plug in the whole room that could fit my charger, and it was the one in the bathroom by the coffee pot. I tried to plug my tablet in the spot across from the bed, but the block I was using there had to be unplugged from the alarm clock. I had to push the table up to keep my block in the plug and keep it charged. The floor was a little wet, which I understand was because it rained all weekend.
