“Une super villa au calme à Lovina”

It was my first time visiting Lovina and this place is exceptional! Quiet, just down a small alley from the main street, the room was perfect, extremely clean, and the pool was great with the 40‑degree heat when I arrived. My host Wayan was adorable, helped me find a driver to go to Munduk the next day, there’s a big kitchen with everything you need, and a small supermarket just 5 minutes away. I took a Gojek scooter and reached the city center in a few minutes, and the sunset was unforgettable! I recommend this place 300% if you want peace and not too far from the center. “Excellent”

Quiet location. Short walk to the beach. Luxury bathroom. Lovely communal kitchen. Attentative cleaner/houselady. Clean pool. Exceeded expectations!. Its a short walk down a lane. So at night just be ready with your phone light as minimal lighting. But in no way did we feel unsafe. Would not stop us from going back!

We enjoyed our stay in Lovina; the accommodation was very clean and so was the pool. On the last day we had an activity planned, so we stayed later than the departure time, but the host kindly let us shower and change before leaving. Nothing negative.

“нормально...НО больше не буду там останавливаться.....”

The hotel sits about 500 m from the sea, but the direct route is a narrow 4‑5 m path that turns into a 30 cm wide trail between another hotel’s wall and a stream. There is no breakfast at the property, which only has two double rooms. A shared kitchen with a large fridge, gas stove and water cooler lets you cook a bit yourself. The pool is small. The rooms are heavily scented with cleaning chemicals that linger for a long time, something I’ve never experienced on Bali before. The Indonesian owner, who lives abroad, strictly forbids guests from eating fresh durian in the hotel and imposes a hefty fine: the booking is cancelled and you’re charged three times the room rate. Durian is sold sliced in most expensive and even some cheaper supermarkets, markets and other places, and Indonesians love it. The 500‑m walk from the main road to the hotel is on an unlit dirt track between forest and local houses, so you always have to keep your phone flashlight on; it gets dark by 18:00.

“Fantastisch!”

The host is super friendly and helpful, everything is tidy and well maintained, and if you ask for anything she does it right away. The only issue was that sometimes a sewage smell would drift in, but I don’t think there’s much she can do about that.
