The room was too small, but we booked it two days before arrival and it was the last one available, so it felt a bit pricey for its size; the hotel is good, the bar area is nice, the food is good, the staff are friendly and very helpful, and overall it’s a very good hotel. The room was too small, and live music on Saturday night didn’t work for us—Brooks don’t need this kind of entertainment, but piped music is fine.

Very comfortable bed. Clean. Helpful staff. Excellent location. Noisy at night as close to pubs. Extra charge to order off menu at breakfast

Everything was exactly what we needed; the plumbing controls were simple to use, the front desk was quick to respond and genuinely cared about guests, and breakfast was excellent with great service. Nothing to complain about.
