Hotel & Ristorante Baita Dovich, Malga Ciapela, sits on the Marmolada ski slopes, a ten‑minute walk from the village center. Rooms feature parquet floors, LCD satellite TV, private bathrooms, and many balconies overlooking the Dolomites. The restaurant serves traditional Dolomite cuisine with local ingredients, offering gluten‑free and children’s menus. A free ski shuttle connects guests to the Dolomite Ski Zone.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, and excellent breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

Breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful and the location great, and the check‑in time was flexible. The dinner was expensive, the food was not good, the presentation was over the top, my chicken was dry and tasteless, other dishes were too salty, the chef didn’t taste the food, and the staff didn’t seem to care.

The décor is stunning and the food is excellent, though the hotel sits right on the street but there’s no traffic at night.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the delicious breakfast and the exceptionally friendly staff; the hotel’s restaurant was a lifesaver since nothing else nearby was open, and everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with a warm and authentic homely atmosphere.

The location under Marmolada offers a great small‑hotel vibe, everything is well‑thought‑out, the breakfast is perfect, but it could have been cheaper.
