The warm reception with a cold drink and the delicious, extensive meal. The room was clean and everything was thought out—from shampoo and shower gel to air‑conditioning and bedside lamps.

We hit a snag on the way back and were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff later that evening. They helped us park our bike trailer and even scouted a restaurant for us. After a good night’s sleep, we enjoyed a tasty breakfast of homemade yogurt and delicious jam—an authentic stay in Haute-Marne with a lovely, quiet green setting and great owners.
