“We enjoyed a wonderful stay!”

The breakfast was great, especially the croissants, and Valara was very accommodating and helpful. The location is walkable to the city centre, Salisbury Cathedral, and many restaurants. However, the hotel sits at a somewhat busy intersection across from a brick wall, which my husband found annoying. Having stayed in older buildings before, I knew to bring a small bag instead of trying to climb the narrow staircase with our large heavy suitcase. The host kindly stored our bigger bags for us during the stay.

Das Caboose ist ein wunderbares kleines Haus mit superfreundlichen Mitarbeitern. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich, und beim Frühstück findet man alles, was man für einen guten Start in den Tag braucht. Die Lage ist ideal, sowohl für Reisen mit der Bahn als auch als Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen aller Art. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!. Alles in Ordnung

“A nice stay”

The location of the guesthouse near the train station was very convenient for us, as we arrived in Salisbury by train. It was also a lovely, short walk to the city center. The room was bright and well-equipped, and we really appreciated the AC during the hot summer days. The breakfast was adequate. Please be aware that a narrow staircase leads to the room, which can make carrying large luggage challenging. Additionally, the room could use a fresh coat of paint, and the shower tiles could use a thorough scrubbing

“Gem of a place to stay in exploring Salisbury and Stonehenge”

The location is great—literally 2 minutes from the station—and the chic presentation carries throughout. The room is good sized, bright, with a strong shower and all the facilities you could need for a stay. The continental breakfast includes smoked salmon, bacon, and sausages. All was really fab—the staff obviously know what they are doing in providing a cosy but independent stay!
