The décor blends classic Maine charm with a touch of Norwegian/Scandinavian flair thanks to Suzanne’s Danish background, and the spot is convenient for trips to Kittery, York, Portland, and Freeport; I have no complaints.

This charming B&B is spotless, cozy, and nautical‑themed, right near Dock Square; Susanne, the innkeeper and owner, made us feel at home, served a spectacular three‑course seated breakfast, and offered homemade cookies every afternoon—truly a must‑visit B&B.

The place is nicely decorated, the rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is great, but the communication and booking process were a nightmare, and the location was a bit farther from shops and town than I’d liked.
