“Le rapport qualité prix pas au rendez-vous”
The hotel’s location is great, close to the Golden Circle, and it’s a bit off the main road, so it’s very quiet. The lounge on the upper floor has a real chalet‑style charm, and the restaurant is good. The property feels a little dated and hasn’t been renovated in a while. The rooms are the right size but lack modern equipment; the heating is hard to adjust, the bed creaks, and the décor looks old with cabinets that seem to have been there forever. There’s no gym, sauna, or spa. Prices are high in Iceland, and this place is still a notch above that.
