The staff were really welcoming and made the stay enjoyable.

Overall, it was a very good experience, though my dad, who is over 60, found the staircase to his first‑floor room inconvenient.

The family running this charming heritage‑style hotel were kind and helpful, and the spot is right in the middle of everything—close to White Town and the ocean but still true to Pondicherry’s spirit, so I’ll definitely return. The only gripe is that Indian hotel beds tend to be short, which can be an issue for tall guests, though they’re still very comfortable.
They kept the heritage vibe at the core, but the food selection could use more variety.
