The location was good, but the cost for comfort was high; I ended up staying at better motels for less.

The hotel was well equipped. The air conditioner was very loud, traffic noise was loud, pillows were uncomfortable, the TV kept cutting out on all channels, and people parked in what should have been your own spot.

The room was large with a comfortable bed and good reverse‑cycle air conditioning, and it stayed quiet even though it was on the main road in central Wellington and other guests were checking out at various times in the morning; the value for money was solid and the free Wi‑Fi streaming speeds were adequate, though I chose to use my own phone data. The bathroom was still being renovated, so the shower screens weren’t installed yet; the staff asked if that was okay when I arrived because my original room was under maintenance, but the bathroom will be very modern once the work is finished.
