Unfortunately, our stay on this lovely houseboat was marred by poor housekeeping.
The beds were extremely comfortable, although the pillows were a bit too thick for our liking.

The place is very pretty and well equipped, but moving luggage is quite a hassle—stairs down, stairs up, stairs down again, doors opening and closing each time—something that should be mentioned for people who aren’t very fit.
“Enttäuschung”
We arrived late in the afternoon and, because of the ongoing heat, the houseboat was unbearably hot. We were told we couldn’t ventilate it, and every room stayed stiflingly warm. After trying for about two hours to lower the temperature with the air‑conditioning, we gave up on using the houseboat. My granddaughter, who has a respiratory condition, would not have been able to sleep in those conditions. We reported this to the owner hoping for a flexible solution, but we never received any reply.

The houseboat is well equipped and the location is good for excursions, even by bus, but you should be able to walk a lot. Overall everything was fine, but the cleaning could have been more detailed; there were many cobwebs and small creatures—common in a water setting—but especially in the bedrooms, a more thorough cleaning would have been appreciated.
