“Delightful stay”

A renovated 1800s school turned into a unique hotel, with M. from staff kindly lugging my bags up. I enjoyed the historical memorabilia and the 24/7 coffee. The pub/restaurant was a great spot to unwind and eat. Walking distance to the historic town center was easy, and the room was spacious. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator.

The place is simply gorgeous and flawless; the owner has transformed this historic landmark into a meticulously curated museum that looks stunning. I’ll definitely return. The staff and pub crew were fantastic, especially Bob the bartender—what a great host!

“May sound a little negative, but my wife and I developed a head cold after the 1st night stay.”

The rooms are roomy and the old school vibe is lovely. We old folks need an elevator to haul luggage up, and our room sat next to a busy road, getting pretty noisy at times.

The history, rooms, décor, and staff are all top notch! Walking to the square is a breeze, making the location great.
