Hilltop Loge - Lalibela

“Care and comfort that is unmatched”

The property is well maintained and the view is breathtaking! The rooms are modern, well decorated, immaculately clean, and every detail is thoughtful. The use of nature around the property—from the flowers that line your sleeping quarters to the garden where some of your vegetables are grown in‑house—adds to the amazing viewpoint!

The view was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly, but the location and staff were not up to par.

“Excelent”

Everything was flawless, and I especially appreciated guide Belay for his attention and dedication.

The hotel was very pleasant. The staff were nice and always asked if everything was fine. Western food could improve, but the effort is appreciated and portions are generous. The rooms are poorly insulated and you can hear the neighbors; I was offered a quieter room and accepted. The tours are pricier than other hotels in the area.

“Brilliant stay …”

The property is absolutely stunning; the balcony view is incredible with lush greenery and hills. The restaurant food was lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff were very nice and made us feel comfortable. The beds were beautifully decorated when we entered. The churches are less than 5 minutes away. It’s a must‑stay and a must‑do activity!
