The bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept on, and the fridge in the room is a huge plus; the owner was super friendly, the beer selection was great, and the value for money was unbeatable. The only downside is that it’s a decent walk from the nearest train station and a long walk from Bolton itself, so keep that in mind if you’re staying here; a taxi to Bolton station cost me around £7, which I think is reasonable.

It was a nice and cozy place with a smooth check‑in and an exceptional host who kept in touch before and during the stay; highly recommend.

I was greeted warmly upon arrival, and the room was spacious and bright with two windows; I especially liked the sofa instead of a hard chair, and the small fridge let me keep milk for my morning cereal. Nothing I didn’t like.

The kitchen area was well equipped, the studio‑style room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was cozy; the locals downstairs at the pub were friendly, and landlady Joan was lovely. The only issue was traffic noise.
