“Prima verblijf, maar zwembad verwaarloosd.”
The view was fantastic, with a beautiful sunset from the room. We stayed here three years ago and liked it so much that we chose the same hotel again, but this time we found the quality had dropped. The pool looks neglected and the breakfast isn’t as good as we remembered from our previous stay. The hotel also lacks the flair and service that made it special three years back. I understand it’s hard to keep a constant level of quality; the staff are doing their best, but I can’t pinpoint exactly why it feels lower. It’s a shame the hotel has lost some of its former charm, but we’ll definitely come back because of its strategic location near the airport, the peace, and the almost untouched beaches, which are much quieter than those in Ayia Napa and Protaras. Hopefully the hotel can restore the quality, service, and vibe of the past in the future.
