Located in Sydney's Lower North Shore, the Greenwich Inn Motel is a 10-minute walk from St. Leonards Railway Station and a 10-minute drive from Sydney's central business district. This newly refurbished motel offers air-conditioned rooms with cable TV, Wi-Fi, workspace, fridge, and tea/coffee making amenities. On-site amenities include a café serving breakfast, self-service laundrette, and ironing facilities, as well as sheltered parking.

The room was very clean and tidy, but the cold water tap in the shower kept coming off the spindle and the TV had a bad aerial connection with no reception on channel 7 at all.

The staff were helpful when we asked to check in late, and the spot was close to the Sydney Marathon 2026 start line, plus it was pretty cheap! However, walking into the room we saw a wall of air fresheners—two different fragrances, the kind you plug into the wall—covering a 4x3m space, and the scent was so strong it actually gave us a headache once we unplugged them. Various surfaces felt sticky, so I slept in long leggings and socks, but the carpet also needed a deep clean. All in all it wasn’t terrible, but there’s room for improvement.

The proximity to medical facilities was great, but the hotel could use some repairs and refurbishment.
