“还好吧!”
The staff were gracious and confident, clearly showing the pedigree of an old‑school hotel that’s been around since 1997, and the central location made everything convenient—I even stayed there back in 2015. Still, there’s a lot that needs fixing: the room was unchanged since 2015 with tired carpet and a strong mildew smell that seems never to have been addressed, the air‑conditioner rattled loudly, the shower was an outdated model with a fixed head, and although the space was generous, the furniture looked worn and the fixtures are overdue for replacement. It’s a shame that such a prime spot inside the China Bank building is let down by the building’s condition, but the low price helped, and the basic standards of a classic upscale hotel—especially the staff’s professionalism—were still noticeable. I hope they keep improving.
