Mas Duc, an 18th-century Catalan country house, sits on a large estate in Brunyola, 25 minutes from Girona city centre. The hotel features a garden with an outdoor pool, rustic-style rooms with garden views, free Wi-Fi, and a bar with a piano and fireplace. Barcelona-Girona Airport is 15 minutes away, and central Barcelona and Costa Brava beaches are within a one-hour and 45-minute drive, respectively.

The place itself is great, but the breakfast left something to be desired.

We spent a weekend with three friends and everything was perfect, especially the friendly staff.

The farmhouse is lovely and the setting is very quiet. The price is too high for what it offers, rooms and overall cleanliness were lacking, and the breakfast was disappointing with no local products and very basic. Everything felt neglected and dirty.

The place was gorgeous, not far from Girona airport. The hotel itself had no restaurant, but the host directed us to a great restaurant in Brunyola. I don’t know.
