It sits nicely in the countryside, just a few minutes from civilization, but the old house is obvious; the lower floor with kitchen and toilet felt damp and smelled like a cellar, the toilet floor was cracked, and overall the accommodation was very Spartan.

We loved the peaceful countryside setting - it's perfect for unwinding. However, it was a bit of a bummer to find out that sheets and towels cost extra after we'd already paid a chunk of the fee. That was especially frustrating since we'd already paid a lot for the stay.

I was looking forward to a warm and cozy stay, and that's exactly what I got when I first arrived. However, things took a turn for the worse when I realized the water from the shower was leaking onto the floor, even when I turned it off. To make matters worse, the towel warmer wasn't working. I knew not to expect breakfast, but a decent cup of coffee would've been nice. Unfortunately, they didn't even have coffee beans, so I left a packet of instant coffee for the next guest.
