The owners really know how to make you feel welcome – everything from the spotless rooms to the view over the Swiss countryside feels carefully thought out. Getting to Zurich takes about an hour and a half by train, and Bodensee is under an hour, while Wil station is just a short drive away, so you can explore the whole country easily. All in all, it felt like the ideal spot to soak up Switzerland without any hassle.
The room and the hosts were top‑notch – they even took care of my laundry, left a bottle of wine, and made sure I had food for the road. The only thing missing was a bit of rain, which would have made the scenery even nicer.
