Breakfast and bed were solid, the shower worked well and the price matched what you get, plus the staff were pleasant. Luckily we had a skylight in our room—no view, but fine for one night. The building and rooms feel a bit old‑fashioned, though the décor itself is up‑to‑date and decent.

It’s a plus that it’s located at the start of the Pieterpad, but the staff handled questions nicely yet lacked genuine attentiveness or time for conversation; occasionally they seemed a bit unfriendly, not looking you in the eye when speaking.

The wellness area was perfect and very relaxing, and the breakfast at the restaurant was good. The room was dusty, towels needed replacement, and the sheets didn’t feel clean.
