“Epic”

The kids and dogs were just adorable. The vibe was exceptional; my Thai‑speaking friend asked the kid his name and he replied “I’ll tell you later,” which was hilarious. He stayed sassy the rest of the time. The location is top tier, and there’s nothing to complain about.

Unfortunately, several hostel basics are missing: no curtains, no privacy—can see what others are doing, no lockers or hangers, not even a hanger in the shower, no toilet paper, and the beds are rock hard, causing back pain right away. I booked because it’s close to the metro and the cute dogs, but these issues need fixing. I had to move to another hostel after one night.

“Amazing budget-friendly option for backpackers”

Don’t be deterred by the few reviews; it’s a great budget option. The rooms aren’t huge, giving a cozy feel. The owner/receptionist is very friendly and speaks English well. It’s next to a market with plenty of food, and the main sights are within walking distance. Everything was nice; the beds are hard, but I find them super comfortable.

The location was spot on—close to main attractions and the metro. Everything was clean and the hosts were extremely kind. I met the hosts’ sweet little dogs; even though I’m scared of dogs, I couldn’t resist petting them—they’re harmless and love attention. There was no elevator, so carrying a suitcase up a flight can be tiring, but the host helped when we left our shopping bag downstairs, which I really appreciated.
