The room was cozy, and breakfast was amazing—OJ, fresh coffee, croissants, toast, yogurt parfaits, and cheese. I loved the lodge feel of the building, the plaid carpet at the entrance, and the lounge, which even had a fire lit for guests one night. Unfortunately, it rained all day, yet we still managed to explore Dunvegan and Portree, and the one‑lane roads in Skye were hair‑raising—still, it’s truly spectacular.
