Clean and tidy, close to where we are working

“It was a very nice stay despite it being not so nice weather, I would come back.”

The location was great and the facilities were all very good. I especially liked the deck area that caught the afternoon sun when it shone and was nicely sheltered. The shower water pressure was a bit low but still adequate. Replacing the double phone jack points with power points would improve things. The multi‑outlet by the bed helped with the power supply issue – just a suggestion, not a complaint.

“Pay more stay somewhere decent.”

Beds comfortable. Excellent location. Clean. The shower posed a huge danger: a stainless steel base, high lip, no non‑slip mat or grab rails. Water pressure was minimal. The manager shared FRW politics within seconds of meeting. The signs! The noise from the house‑moving crew leaving at 2:00 am. The whole place is old; paint and soft furnishings can only do so much.

“Comfortable and feels like home and family”

The hosts are wonderful, very accommodating. We have stayed so many times now and it’s our go‑to every time we go to Whitianga. Nothing at all.

Fantastic location on the beachfront, great for an early morning jog along the paved walkway. The room was super comfortable with all the amenities needed. Close to town where I needed to charge my car, so I grabbed a bite to eat at a local pub. Shower pressure was a little low, but that’s being very picky.
