“The place has huge tourist potential, but the comfort issues.”
The staff were wonderful—thanks for your hard work. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who checked us in and helped with everything. The secure parking for cars and motorcycles is locked at night, which is very convenient. The grounds are beautiful with flowers, a koi pond, a gazebo, and an observation deck that offers a great view. Wi‑Fi is strong and fast, and the location is great relative to local attractions and the view from the property. However, the cottages look nice in the photos but need some minor repairs: burnt‑out light bulbs in the room, a sagging and sticking front door, leaking sink drains and faucets in cottage number 1. There’s also noise from neighbors; the toilet shares ventilation, so you can hear everything, especially the flush. The shower is poorly organized: the toilet is built to Indonesian standards but the tiles have sagged, leaving a puddle of cold water at 15 °C in the middle of the room. The shower constantly falls off the wall hose, and the heater runs on gas automatically, making it impossible to use as a shower—either cold with no pressure or insanely hot and scalding. You have to fill a bucket with hot water, mix it with cold, and take a shower from a ladle while standing in an icy puddle. The bidet shower in the toilet is connected to cold water, which is very unpleasant. It’s quite cold at night; I’d prefer a small heater or electric blanket in the room instead of a TV, or at least a small kettle in room number to make hot drinking water.
