The place is amazing—far more than the photos suggest, perfect for nature lovers and immersive experiences, with crystal‑clear river water and a full pool, a laid‑back vibe featuring night bonfires, drumming and a luau‑style atmosphere that feels intense, welcoming and full of personality; there are roaming horses and friendly dogs, though the sheets showed signs of wear—still, I asked for new ones and the staff responded quickly, showing they care, and the access road is quite rustic and may be tricky for low‑clearance cars, plus the route isn’t fully mapped, so planning ahead is advisable given its somewhat remote location.

The reception from Dodô and the animals made a difference to the experience. The place is pretty and the rooms are cozy. The description of amenities didn’t mention a pool, yet there are photos in the listing that might mislead someone into thinking it’s a listing error; I don’t think it’s intentional, but when we arrived, we found a beautiful, huge pool that was dirty and almost empty. Dodô explained that it depends on the spring water and there wasn’t enough water to fill it. It might be useful to update the listing (perhaps add a note to check with the host). Another bad point: the showers didn’t heat up; the water ran for minutes and nothing, and we were told it was gas‑powered, but unfortunately that aspect was also disappointing.

The place is gorgeous! The chalet is super cozy and framed by the mountains, it could easily be a postcard of MG. Hygor and Dri were extremely attentive before and during the stay. The pool is huge, the room is clean, and the shower is warm. Don’t forget to ask for breakfast—it’s definitely worth it! We went home refreshed and already planning our next visit. The peace we needed was exactly what we found. Thanks, everyone!
