Tony’s welcome was great, handing me a room right when I arrived on the night bus at 7:30 am, which made settling in a breeze; I could start hiking straight away.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean, the breakfast was simple but good, and towels were provided, but there are no quiet areas after a certain hour because the building is closed, yet for the price it’s acceptable.

I stayed more than a month in the shared female room; from the first moment Tania treated me like family, warm with her daughters, always ready to help and solve problems, everything was clean and the beds were large, breakfast matched the price, but the female shower takes a while to heat up before it becomes hot.
