This place is perfect for first‑time visitors to Gili Air, just like us, and we’re already planning a return. It’s quiet and peaceful, with breakfast served on the beach. The staff are awesome, friendly, and ensure every need is met.

Skønt og venligt personale. Fantastisk udsigt. Opredning på værelset morgen og aften. Nemt med cykel rundt på øen. Alt tilgængeligt inden for en lille cykeltur

Amazing friendly service and assistance at all times, always with a smile and polite. The rooms are a bit cramped; the benches are just too small for suitcases or sitting, but these are minor issues.

I felt a bit catfished—probably the photos were taken just after opening, but the hotel needs more love. I wouldn’t stay again and thought it was too expensive for what we got. What was okay: amenities all included, helpful staff, a nice looking pool that was full of chlorine and a bit falling apart (the outside wood floor was corroded, the stone inside the pool was rough and corroded too), and a filling breakfast that didn’t taste the best. What was great: free bikes, an incredible sunset location with deck chairs, overall nice architecture, twice‑daily cleaning service, and that perk. The first night we discovered the AC wasn’t working, so we asked for a room change. They gave us a new room for one night and then moved us back once the AC was fixed, which was inconvenient. The bathroom is outside, which isn’t a problem at first, but when mosquitoes bite every time you use it or shower, it becomes a real issue; I’ve learned that outside bathrooms aren’t for me. The overall state of the hotel was poor: many broken items, especially around the pool; bathroom lights were barely there and weren’t fixed when I asked; the roof had many holes. Cleaning was lacking—sheets and towels were clean but the floor wasn’t, likely because so many bugs entered the room. The sliding doors didn’t close completely, leaving a big gap for bugs and cockroaches, making the room dirty; we found lizard poop every night, which was disgusting. The room was large but awkwardly laid out, with no back of the bed to sit, which was annoying for evenings. Bugs were rampant—so many mosquito bites that even the net didn’t help. The staff seemed to be doing things for extra money and came off as disingenuous. Overall, it wasn’t worth the price—too expensive for what we got.
