Clean, comfortable, just minutes from the amphitheater and the pool, close to many great gelaterias and a snack spot. The staff were very kind and thoughtful, even calling me because I’d forgotten things in the room. It’s my second stay at the property. Unfortunately, Santa Maria Capua Vetere is a bit out of Naples for me, as I travel by train.

The rooms were huge, stylishly modern, and in a very central spot right next to bars, restaurants, and a pharmacy. The bed was comfortable, and checking in and out was hassle‑free. The shower was spacious but the drain had issues.

The TV was fine. When we arrived, despite having paid in advance, we were treated like criminals over WhatsApp. A couple from the shop next door, Italian, also struggled to convince the owner that we were regular guests. I had notified them of my arrival six hours ahead of time. Parking was supposedly paid, but it wasn’t available and it was out of season in late October. Breakfast was missing, and we never saw any staff.
