“Het was een fijne en gezellig verblijf met vriendelijk personeel en een lekker uitgebreid ontbijt”

The breakfast at the front desk was generous and very cozy; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and approachable, and there was a heater in the room for when it got cold. The location was also perfect, I could walk into the city or catch the bus just around the corner.

There was no coat rack in the room, which is annoying if you stay longer than two nights. Also, you need a bathrobe to shower, and since there’s no toilet in the room, it would have been handy to have a hook in the toilet to hang your robe. The mason jars of muesli at breakfast are very inconvenient. It was okay, and the key could have had the house number on it.

A good room for a fair price.

“Je voelt je als een local in de wijk. Van alle gemakken voorzien. In één woord prima.”

Breakfast could be had until a late time, and the quiet in the neighborhood and in the house itself is a plus. The staff work side‑by‑side with your breakfast; one might find that pleasant, but I felt it was a bit less relaxing.

“Nooit meer met booking.com”

I cancelled this overnight stay because the app automatically overbooked me to the next day since they are closed on Sundays. That happens automatically without asking. I want my money back! That is in your terms. I still haven’t seen anything!
