The lobby’s design and vintage vibe were pretty good, and the security staff and front‑desk manager were quite friendly and proactive. The rooms, however, were old and in need of repair, the air conditioning was weak and the rooms stayed hot, and every floor had a strong musty smell that was hard to accept. I noticed the restaurant staff treated guests differently: a Japanese guest got a waiter who eagerly poured water and greeted them, while a Chinese guest was told to fill their own water—service should be the same for everyone.

The location was fine. The towels weren’t clean, the room smelled of cigarettes, and the air‑conditioning was hard to adjust.
