“Value for money”

The second staff member was very helpful, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean with modern bathrooms; the first staff member lacked front‑of‑house skills even though we had been acknowledged, kept setting up tables, and my husband was able to use the toilet and return to the bar while I was still waiting. Showers could have been a little cleaner.

“Convenient location”

Great live music on Sunday and a convenient location—every bus passing the hotel went to the centre with great frequency, but the mattress was lumpy and uneven, the walls in the bedroom and bathroom were dirty, and the room barely looked like the photos.

“Good for a night, probably wouldn’t stay for longer”

Convenient location, and the bathrooms are nicer than the rooms, but it was noisy with people walking up and down the stairs and the room smelled musty.

“good value for money stay”

The shared bathroom was clean, the bedroom was good, but the bottom sheet was missing from the bed; noisy at night, though the band was good so it wasn’t all bad.
