“Brilliant hotel and restaurant, food was good and the staff were absolutely superb with us throughout.”
The place was spotless and the decor was fantastic; our room was brilliant, quiet, and cozy on a cold, windy, rainy night in Wales. Nothing to complain about.

The rooms are nice. The food at the pub is also very tasty.

The food was great and the night porter was very helpful when we arrived late. The breakfast service was excellent once we were seated and the selection was lovely, but the dog booking was a shame. We arrived late because the property advertised itself as dog‑friendly, yet when I called to confirm the booking I was told the room was not dog‑friendly. We had to find a last‑minute kennel, which made us late. On our return we booked a different hotel because of this; otherwise we would have stayed again. The problem was worse when we arrived for breakfast: the waitress asked for our room and then said, “Have you got the dog?” – clearly we were listed as wanting a dog‑friendly stay.
