I liked the staff’s attitude at reception, especially Goa who guided me on how to get around and what to see. The breakfasts were tasty, the room was cleaned daily, towels were changed, and the Vanda Plaza supermarket was good. The personnel were friendly and helpful, and the driver at the hotel could take me to any attraction.
The room was spacious with comfy beds and I could control the lights and curtains from switches by the bed—very handy. The shower area was large. Even though we requested a non‑smoking room, cigarette smell lingered; we had to crack the windows in the winter at –15 °C just to ventilate. This seems to be a common issue in China; we stayed in two hotels and both had strong cigarette odors everywhere :(
The bed was hyper‑comfortable like a cloud, and I absolutely loved it.
A small, tidy room in a residential area; across the street is a huge shopping centre with stores and cafés nearby, but it’s not the city centre, so you’ll need a taxi to reach the main sights, about 20‑30 km away. The bathroom had a sink, which I find a bit inconvenient.

The overall experience was great, breakfast was good with a wide variety of dishes. The TV’s internet works with multimedia, which is enough. Rooms were cleaned daily, and the blackout curtains controlled from a button by the bed were amazing. The hotel sits in a quiet area with many shops and eateries, and there are open spots 500‑800 meters away that stay open at night with delivery always available. The staff is always ready to help and advise, and the bank branch for currency exchange is almost next door. The hotel is easy to reach via the local taxi app, so getting there is hassle‑free. Corridor noises are barely noticeable, allowing for a good rest. I managed to check in early without any issues, for which I’m grateful. Overall, a solid choice. On the downside, the staff ignore the “do not disturb” signs, which is odd. I’d like working Wi‑Fi, not just on the TV. The address on Booking maps is wrong; check local maps instead. The toilet lacks a toilet brush, only the cleaners bring one for cleaning.
