The location was great and I liked the room. Towels were available and the Wi‑Fi was easily reachable. After washing hands or showering, a strong drain odor from the bathroom was constantly present, making continuous ventilation necessary. I’m not sure if it was a water issue, but it was unusual.

The photos and description didn’t make it obvious that the room shared a toilet and bathroom with others.

The accommodation offered a decent value for money, with breakfast available (though not on site). Check‑in was flexible. When I arrived, the parking lot was full, so I couldn’t park there. Inside the property there were several buildings, making it unclear which one to enter. The bed was soft, and the mattress slipped; there were no small towels or large ones. Before taking possession, I was asked to send a photo of my ID, which isn’t usually required for other bookings.

I’m writing my family’s impressions. The place was clean and cool; the cleaning lady chatted a lot, and the bed was comfortable. Many locals, including those from the valley, praised the friendly faces. The shower was a lifesaver during the heat. They found the Krishna valley interesting. However, my family had to go to the valley for food, and they struggled with sore feet; the food was unfamiliar compared to the rural Hungarian fare they’re used to, though not bad, just odd. They couldn’t find a way to get from Somogyvár station to the valley at night; they met Bhaktas who took them. Nothing else was negative.
