We booked & paid a room with 4 beds 2 large double and 2 single. When we arrive they said this room doesn’t exist so we would have to book a second room and pay an extra 100 euros per room per night. We travelled 8hours to get to this hotel so had no choice but to pay. We spoke to 2 managers and they blamed and we’re not willing to accept any responsibility or offer any discounts. After making a truthful review about this 2 of the hotel managers tried to get us to change the review. which I would have if they were to accept responsibility and offer something in return. The location was fine. The rooms were for smokers and couldn’t be changed, the overall condition of the hotel was dirty and poorly maintained, there was no water for 24 hours, the air conditioning was on or off without control, there were no towels on the last day, and so on.

The hotel is very good, with spacious, comfortable rooms, a well‑organized shower, and tasty restaurant food. However, every visit was marred by staff issues: I was told the restaurant was closed, yet it opened for a Turkish guest; I was told a iron was impossible to get, but after pressing they finally found one; and when I checked out the bill was four times higher “by mistake”.

This hotel is a real gem, with top-notch amenities and a prime location in the heart of the city. However, I was a bit frustrated when I was told that room service was not available on my first night, despite the restaurant being open until 18:00. It seemed that I was expected to go through the reception to request room service, which was not clearly communicated to me.
