The spot is great, with amazing views and crystal‑clear HD, and it’s a lovely stroll to Dunkeld along the River Tay. The only downside was the lack of Wi‑Fi and a fireplace that wouldn’t ignite; I tried to fix it, but reception shut down at 5 pm, so that was the sole problem.

I liked the lodge for its simplicity, cleanliness and warm atmosphere, and the walks and riverside were easy to reach, which my dogs enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bartender who was superb. However, the bar and restaurant felt very basic and low‑quality, and the grounds and grass looked a little scruffy.

The property was huge, impeccably clean, and matched the website description; the facilities were top‑class and the staff remained consistent, with bar staff all great and Stewart especially welcoming. I can’t fault anything and will definitely return.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lodge itself was lovely and in a perfect spot. The only downside was that there were no bins on site.
