The hotel's location near popular tourist spots like the Kappa Pond and the Folklore Park was a big plus.
The staff were super accommodating and made a big difference in my recovery.
The onsen was a highlight of our stay - we loved the seats in the big pool and the sauna and steam room.
The rooms were small but clean, which was a bit of a relief.

The Japanese-Style Room has a traditional tatami floor and sleeps 2 guests. It features air conditioning and a refrigerator for climate control and refreshments. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, toilet, towels, toilet paper, and slippers. The room also includes a safety deposit box, flat-screen TV, telephone, and free WiFi, along with a wake-up service.

I felt the oldness, but it was clean and good. The only downside was that the event near Tonokō Station was a bit far.

The surroundings were lush and full of nature.
Set in green surroundings, the staff are kind and very helpful, and the typical breakfast is very good. Small aquariums without environmental enrichment, featuring fish and turtles along the corridors and in the lounge, might have added a touch of personality in the past, but in 2026 an Italian citizen would see them as borderline animal mistreatment.
