I met a staff member who was super kind and helped me sort out an issue with my car; the motel sits halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles and even has a small pool.

The price included breakfast, but it turned out there was none; we were told it would be tea and coffee to choose from, which is standard in any normal hotel, so I was disappointed even though the hotel itself was really great and well‑located.

The place was clean, the staff friendly and close to everything, but I never got a chance to use the jacuzzi—cloudy, always crowded, and the toilet didn’t flush when I arrived, so I had to switch rooms; after the switch it was much better, though the front‑desk girl at check‑in never mentioned any breakfast.
