I liked the old‑fashioned, simple vibe of the place, the lack of TV, the easy access, the good price, and its proximity to the park. It was clean, but the road noise at night and early morning sometimes became annoying.

The place is basically invisible - all I saw was a sign that said "private property". I had to search around to find it, and when I finally did, there was no one on site. The room was pretty bare, and there was no TV to speak of. Not exactly the most welcoming experience.

This place is a gem. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming atmosphere that's free from pretentiousness. The decor is tasteful and the rooms are spotless, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but it was long enough to appreciate the little touches that make this place special – and short enough that we didn't want to leave.

This place is definitely not your average hotel. No reception, just a code sent to your phone to unlock the lockbox with your room key. Sounds convenient, but it's a bit of a hassle when you realize there's no one to turn to when things go wrong. We were left without towels, and getting some took an eternity - we had to call someone and wait two hours before they finally arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay at the JT Ranch House Motel, which is perfectly situated near all the local cafes and restaurants, and just a short drive to the National Park. The room was a great size, spotless, and had everything we needed, including being dog-friendly (just be aware there's a $25 per day pet fee). The new owner Courtney was super communicative and helpful, which made a big difference to us.
