Great Caravan At Dovercourt Holiday Park

“Convenient for Airshow visit”

The caravan was situated in a quiet part of the park. Four adults fit just about right into the beds; the rooms were small and a bit cramped, but we managed for two nights. A few issues needed attention, so we left a note for the next guests to address.

“wont use this again”

We paid for early check‑in, so we expected to enter at 2 pm, but the cleaner didn’t leave until 20 minutes past 2, forcing us to wait outside. The television had dirty fingerprints, the walls and windows were filthy, there were sweat wrappers and food on the sofa cushions, the floor wasn’t swept, and the toilet seat was broken.

There were two toilets, but they were not clean.

“Disappointing”

loads of dust and cobwebs, fan was broken, fridge and freezer dirty, main bed had filthy mattress cover and duvet, mats in kitchen were loaded with dog hair and stunk so I put them in the cupboard, gate to decking was broken, shed where garden furniture was stored was broken so lock not working, curtains way too long and hung on the backs of the chairs and floor, no door curtain so everyone can see in, toilet seat broken, some blankets left had brown lumps stuck on them, its a shame as the company 2cholidays who manage the van for the owner are obviously only wanting the money, you get an e mail from them after about 3 days with host company asking enormous fees for 'add ons' shame they dont clean the van before you arrive, its probably an add on

The location was quiet, the homely touches were nice, and everything was very comfortable.
