Happy Surf Hostel

The location was great, we liked the roof top spot. The staff showed great understanding and flexibility. The aesthetic of the hostel is very pleasing. /

“Chill and fun vibes”

Our group had the best experience and because of our short stay the hostel kindly arranged for us to surf and sandboard in the desert on the same day. Both activities were super fun and will stay in our memories forever. The hostel is also super nice and clean and has a roof with a gorgeous view. Thank you to both of the owners!

The hostel was very dirty and our room had no windows facing the exterior, only two very small windows facing the communal hallway that created a moldy smell. The room only had one ventilator but it was so loud that it was impossible to sleep with it on. Also there was only one plug so you had to choose to either charge your phone or sleep with an industrial ventilator on. The pillows smelled like mold and the shared toilet was pretty dirty. We only stayed for one night because we considered that there were no conditions for us to stay there the whole week. The refund process for the rest of the days was pretty simple.

I liked the rooftop decor and the staff were friendly, but the room felt hot, dingy, unclean, and the shower doors were see-through.

I really appreciated the warm welcome, Badr’s kindness, and the cleanliness of the riad; the place is very pleasant, quiet, and comfortable, and I had a truly enjoyable stay – highly recommend.
