The beach was too far to walk or swim, and while the town itself was fine we don’t plan to return. A helpful tip: head to Vrsi, the beach there is perfect, with shade, a café bar, and free parking.

Overall we were fairly satisfied, but there’s room for improvement: the apartment is simple and dated, but acceptable for those who are content. Cleaning was adequate – we found a sock under the sofa, hair in the sheets, and a pan with residue. Mrs. Marina was very kind and always ready to answer our questions, even gifting us garden tomatoes and giving us a free parking card near the beaches. What we didn’t like, beyond what was already mentioned, was the poorly made bed (slightly crooked sheets and duvet) and the sofa bed for kids that had to be set up with roughly folded sheets in a closet. It would have been proper to have everything ready and neatly presented, especially since we paid for a service. We also felt a second sheet to protect the sofa would have been useful; having only one sheet underneath is unhygienic for us and for future guests. The quality of the sheets was also questionable, as they felt rough. Another point to improve is the division between the terraces of the two adjacent apartments: a sheet that moves up and down with the wind isn’t ideal for privacy or safety. Carrying cash in 2026 is inconvenient and unsafe for those of us traveling long periods and using cards. In our tour of Slovenia and Croatia, we regret to say this is the only apartment that doesn’t match the 9.2 rating on Booking, which is excellent. It’s a real pity because, given the location, it could be valued much higher. Based on our experience, we don’t recommend it because the quality doesn’t match the price.
