“Sold under false pretences”
I showed up at the hotel only to find the lights off and nobody answering the door or the phone; after pounding on the door, a tired person told us the place was flooded and we couldn't stay, which was especially stressful with two kids. We had to scramble for local accommodation at a much higher price. The hotel had already sent a confirmation email earlier in the week, so the flooding was a real surprise.
“Don’t bother !!!”
Nothing. We turned up at the hotel to find it closed down !! They had taken my payment but didn’t tell that they were no longer open So we turned up for our night away with no where to stay This is absolutely disgusting ! I had to contact customer service who then also couldn’t get hold of anyone from the hotel 😡 Booking .com then had to find us alternative accommodation Now I’m waiting on my money back from this hotel !! Absolutely ridiculous service from the hotel

I never got to stay because the hotel was closed. I didn't receive a refund or any notice about the closure, which ruined a planned Valentine's getaway and left me very frustrated.

The breakfast was decent, but the owner should have unlocked the door and let us stay; the hotel was locked and we couldn't get in.
