The accommodation is a small mountain village near Bolzano, a 30‑minute drive, with convenient free parking. The large balcony offers a beautiful mountain view, and the mattress is soft and comfortable. The check‑in process requires a phone call to the owner to get the key, which is very inconvenient if your Wi‑Fi card doesn’t support calls. The shower room has standing water, and the shared kitchen on the first floor makes higher‑floor rooms less convenient.

The location next to the bus station is great, and the check‑in/check‑out process is super.

“Schönes Ambiente”

We stopped there for two nights on our way to Italy. The self‑check‑in worked flawlessly. The room was a bit small but adequate, on the first floor with a balcony. Breakfast was a solo affair in the common area – coffee maker, kettle and everything else were present, but we didn’t boil anything. The first night we hit the nearby sports centre for pizza, which was really tasty. The vibe is basically a sports casino. The place itself doesn’t offer much, and we didn’t spot the nice corners, but there are a few decent walking trails within walking distance.

The rooms and the old dining area were sweet. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the street noise at night and early morning – a handful of cars that were unfortunately loud – woke me up repeatedly.
