The staff were very helpful and great. Beds were comfortable, and the room was big enough. I couldn’t find anything that I disliked or was unhappy about.

“Good comfortable hotel but had some conventions which don’t make sense”

The room was well appointed, with robes and slippers included. It was close to the city centre by car and very near the Canberra railway station, though there are no local trains running from there. Breakfast was generous, but it lacked veggie options that didn’t involve eggs of some sort. Parking facilities were good. Staff were helpful and very welcoming at breakfast. The TV in the room was dysfunctional but was fixed for the second night. The breakfast package was good, but lacked veggie options such as non‑meat sausages. It includes hot beverages or fruit juice, but not both, which is odd. Most of the staff were really helpful, though one or two weren’t as nice. The hotel wasn’t full but we still had to ‘book’ breakfast slots. Our tea and coffee in the room weren’t topped up until we asked for it.

The wifi in my room was tricky; the signal was obviously weak, so the wifi service came and went unpredictably.
