“Absolutely stunning, a must stay, beautiful views and delicious local food and wine!”
This place is a must‑visit for us. The location is absolutely stunning and the views stay with you forever. The onsite restaurant serves fresh, lovely food, often using ingredients they grow on site and their own wine. Breakfast was incredible, offering everything from freshly cooked/fried eggs, yogurt, tarts, fresh fruit, toast, pastries, all in a gorgeous glass orangery. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond. It felt magical and very romantic, and there were alpacas and cats wandering around. The nearby farm had chickens, ducks, rabbits, and peacocks! You could literally spend an entire day here. The pool was fabulous, with beautiful views, and everything was clean, tidy, and well kept. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They also offer paid extras like massages, saunas, pasta‑making courses, wine tasting, etc. We had a wine tasting during our stay, and it was just fabulous. The only small issue for us, especially with our joint problems, was the walk to Greve, the nearby town, which was very steep. It’s only 5‑10 minutes away via the lovely vineyard shortcut, but it’s a tough walk for people with disabilities or older. We had to drive and park near town instead, which was easy and cheap, but for more able‑bodied folks you should be fine walking, and it’s probably a lovely jaunt. They mentioned it was quite steep, and we should have taken that seriously! 😅 A staff member kindly picked us up to go back because taxis are hard to find, but that shows how they go above and beyond. I don’t think that’s a regular offer, more of a one‑off since we were a bit stuck, but it was really kind and helpful.
