“Je ne reviendrais plus”
The room was decent. The booking listed “Good breakfast!” but the Thai MAMA soup at 8 bahts with an egg on top was a shock for a breakfast. We had to find the hot water for coffee ourselves in the kitchen. The second day we chose to eat elsewhere. At reception the employee didn’t speak Lao, even though we were in Laos. There were no pool umbrellas, even though the listing mentioned them, and no bath towels. Stairs led to the second floor without any safety measures and were open to everyone, which was very dangerous for children. The staff were practically nonexistent and showed no interest in guests.
The room is big and fully equipped, there’s a pool, and Lisa is a person who lifts your spirits.
The hotel welcomed us warmly and the staff offered plenty of helpful tips, even picking us up at the station and arranging cheap scooter rentals; when it rained they set up an impromptu cooking class. The location is a bit off‑center, on a busy main road, but the hotel sits back from the traffic.
The staff were very pleasant, but the shower equipment was very basic.
A perfect accommodation with a large, clean pool ideal after excursions. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. The best part is the great personal attention from the manager, a very attentive girl who is always available for everything. Nothing else.
