Nice and very central in Old Town. There is no small outdoor drying line for wet swimwear and towels.

Great location, though many stairs to reach it. The apartment had all the amenities one could want, and the air‑con worked well. The surroundings were quiet and close to many restaurants. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, leading to back pain and restless nights (the sofa bed was no better). Even though the area was quiet, the rooms weren’t soundproof, so there was a lot of noise from other apartments and the communal stairs. Hot water seemed limited/shared with other apartments, so it ran out during peak shower times.

Near the city centre. The room had humidity.

The spot is right in the heart of the old town and the self‑check‑in instructions were crystal clear. I could reach the hosts through WhatsApp, and the emergency line worked, with a friendly, approachable operator. My room, number 1 on the first floor, was spotless, modern, and had high ceilings. The shower could get very hot, which was perfect after a swim, and the air‑con units were efficient. On the downside, the room on the ground floor was at the front door, so I could hear everyone coming and going all night and early in the morning, with cleaners and other guests disturbing me. The hall was echoey, and the cleaning equipment was downstairs next to our room, so I could hear them setting up and talking. I even bought earplugs, but they didn’t help. Heavy luggage meant steep steps, and depending on the season, the place can be blisteringly hot and crowded. The room is small, about the same size as the bathroom, with only two windows and little natural light. The TV is old, has no app connectivity, and only local channels, so I couldn’t use it. I had to take my own bins out, which I was fine with, but clearer instructions would have helped. I also had to ask for fresh towels; the cleaner dropped them off while attending other rooms, so better pre‑arrival info would be good. There’s hardly any space to hang wet towels for longer stays. Overall, a decent hotel for the area, but the room we got at that price could have been better, especially since we booked last minute. It feels more like an HMO than a hotel or Airbnb.
