The hotel is set in a beautiful countryside location, which was lovely to wake up to. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't as cooperative, with some pretty gloomy skies during our stay.

We felt like we'd stepped back in time when we walked into this historic hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we loved spending an evening by the fire reading about the local history. The on-site restaurant was great, and the breakfast was top-notch. The gardens are stunning, and there are plenty of cozy lounges to relax in.

The peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay really enjoyable. If I'm being picky, it would have been nice to have a comfortable armchair in the room to lounge around in.

Our room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. It was a lovely place to stay, and we felt right at home.
